carabossDay 1 (Friday) arrived in Chiang mai etsxuhaed after all the traveling.  Did ministry at Emmi's coffee house that reaches out to Thai college students, enjoyed some open-mic night at the coffee house and then crashed upstairs in the mission team dorms.Day 2 (Saturday)went to a Buddhist temple in Chiang Mai,  and prayed against strongholds of Buddhism in the country.  Visited with a local monk to gain understanding of the belief system and Buddhist impact on culture. went out to the slums and played with the children there. Prayer walking in the red light district.Day 3 (Sunday) went to a church and performed drama, shared testimonies, Dan shared a brief message.  Had lunch with the church family afterwards. The whole team enjoyed the lunch experience with brothers and sisters in Christ. In the afternoon, prayed for Thai people, each other, and the Africa and Guatemala trips.Day 4 (Monday) traveled to Home of Blessing in Chiang Kham.  Met the girls that are there and Pastors Sayan and Siriporn Kusavadee.  Team members have there own small group and met with them, played and quickly bonded with the girls.  Everyone loves it there.  Dan Haack

You know this already   but I ptianed the entire inside or our current home   and the one we sold to purchase this home   in the nude.  I ptianed the sold home in stages but was nude the entire time.  I too learned from room to room of better or different techniques to keep paint of the carpet, making straight lines and taping to keep the paint off the ceiling so I wasn't going back to touch up.This home was even more fun.  I had to go out and buy a taller ladder! 12   14 ft ceilings were much different to paint than the 9 ft ceilings in the old house.  Trying to figure out how to explain why I was naked, lying in paint and injured to the 911 first responders was always on my mind at the top of that ladder! LOLI did show up for a Dr's appt. later in the afternoon after painting.  While my female doctor was performing an exam and I had my shorts around my ankles   she asked    painting again?   I said,  yeah    She said    missed a spot and lightly poked the spot on my butt!   Seems I leaned against a wet wall! LOL
